Farah Lopez began her journey as a musical theater singer/actress graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in Theater Performance. This jump started her career and sent her traveling around the world performing on Royal Caribbean Cruises for several years. This is where she fell in love with hospitality. She began eating in the fine dining restaurants onboard and began learning through the sommeliers on board about the wine programs they offered. This gave birth to a new passion– a foodie was born.
She began taking vacations to Europe to further expand her culinary palate eating at some of the top 50 restaurants in the world. Following her time on cruise ships Farah traveled through the U.S. with the number one musical in the world Disney’s The Lion King. Farah took this opportunity to dive even further into hospitality but starting her own catering company geared toward performers and their dietary needs between performances.
Farah wanted to learn more about the hospitality industry and how to promote and position great restaurants, hotels, and chefs where they too could succeed and have the opportunity to be seen and exhibit their full expression. That passion drove Farah to get a Master’s degree in Public Relations through Full Sail University in 2016; giving all her travel and food experiences combined with a theatrical flair, a journalistic bridge to bring it all together.
